Golf Conditioning Class Offered at the Camelback Village

The Camelback Village Racquet and Health ClubOverseed is upon us and while the local courses are growing in their beautiful winter ryegrass, why not get your body in better shape for the impending golf season.

The Camelback Village Racquet and Health Club, one of the top health facilities in the state, will debut their inaugural Golf Conditioning Class. Golf specific exercises such as strength training, core and balance and flexibility will be taught.

Sessions will incorporate free weights, select machines, Kinesis, the innovative TRX suspension training system and more.

Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays, both in the daytime and at night.

Cost will be $360 for 12 sessions.

Instructor Linda Lawyer, graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Youth Leadership and Physical Education. She received a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in nutrition. She has worked in the fitness industry over 15 years as a personal trainer, physical therapist aid, swim teacher and water aerobics instructor. She currently trains several upcoming AJGA golfers.

Philosophy:
Being healthy and fit should be top priority in ones life. Life is all about balance. Workouts emphasize a balance of cardio, functional training, balance work and strength training. Linda enjoys working with people and helping them accomplish their fitness goals.
