ASU Karsten to Host Upcoming Collegiate Golf Tournaments

The ASU Karsten Golf Course will play host to several high profile collegiate events over the next three weeks, including the PING/ASU Women’s Collegiate Invitational, the ASU Thunderbird Men’s Collegiate Invitational and the PAC 10 Women’s Golf Championship. The ASU Karsten Golf Course

  • Thursday, March 31, 2011 (Practice rounds and College-Am)
  • Friday, April 1 – Sunday, April 3, 2011 (54 hole championship)


ASU Thunderbird Men’s Collegiate Invitational

  • Friday, April 8, 2011 (Practice rounds and College-Am)
  • Saturday, April 9 – Sunday, April 10, 2011 (54 hole championship)

PAC 10 Women’s Golf Championship

  • Saturday, April 16, 2011 (Practice rounds)
  • Sunday, April 17 - Tuesday, April 19, 2011 (54 hole championship)

“We’re excited to host these three great events at the ASU Karsten Golf Course,” said ASU Karsten Director of Golf Daryl Crawford. “The golf course is in fantastic shape and is ready to challenge collegiate golf’s best. The ASU Karsten Golf Course is a 7,002-yard, par-70 classic Pete Dye design reminiscent of a Scottish links course. Since opening in 1989, ASU Karsten has attracted the attention of prominent NCAA golf events and coveted tournaments such as the Phoenix Thunderbirds and PING Invitational. Managed by Lyon Golf, the ASU Karsten Golf Course is also home to the Arizona State University men’s and women’s NCAA golf teams, both multiple national championship winners.
