Interesting Stories Abound at The Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-One

Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-OneNow in its final week, the Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-One presented by Fox Sports Arizona has already seen its share of aces and exciting stories.

Thus far, twelve hole in ones have been made on the Fiesta Bowl’s stand-alone, 120 + yard hole. Dwight Thomas of Scottsdale, Arizona recorded two hole in ones on the same day while a trio of brothers; Mike, Steve and David Reiter, all made aces. David, who resides in Glendale, Arizona, has hit two holes in ones and just missed a third when he landed just ½ inch from the cup.

Thomas, 65, has playing golf for fifty five years. He is currently a member at Terravita Golf Club in North Scottsdale and is a nine handicap.

“I have hit balls at this event for the past three years,” Thomas said. “I hit about 50 balls and used my TaylorMade r7CGB Max 7 & 8 irons. When you make one, it just happens, and this year it amazingly happened twice within 15 minutes!”

For the record, Thomas has recorded one traditional hole in one and was “not playing well recently”. Golfer’s Guide feels that his luck has certainly changed. Congratulations to all!
