Sunridge Canyon named one of Golf World reader's top 50 public courses in U.S.

SunRidge Canyon Golf ClubGolf World magazine readers chose SunRidge Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills as the 26th best public golf course in the United States in a recent Reader’s Choice poll conducted by the magazine.

Reader’s Choice Awards were based solely on reader input gathered by Golf Digest Publications’ Research Resource Center via an online poll conducted this summer. For a facility to be ranked, it had to receive a minimum number of reader evaluations. Readers graded facilities using a 10-point scale based on various criteria, including quality of course, condition of course, reputation/prestige, speed of play, golf pro shop, service and overall value.

SunRidge Canyon received an overall score of 80.44. Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National in Opelika, Ala. was ranked number one on the Top 50 Public Golf Course list and had a total score of 89.86.
