Alamo Golf ClubThe Alamo Golf Club has something for every golfer. Its 18-hole course measures around 5,200 yards from the back tees and has a par 5 on each side. Spontaneous golfers who come to Alamo to practice can turn around and test their skills on the course at a moment’s notice; tee times don’t exist at the club allowing golfers to begin a round on a first come, first serve basis.

Featuring a par-67 golf course open 365 days a year (weather permitting) from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with an outstanding practice facility featuring a two-tiered driving range with stadium lighting, mats and a grass tee line, putting and chipping areas and a nine-hole pitch and putt course, making Alamo Golf Club the city’s most complete facility.

The course is priced very reasonably with adults paying $25 on weekdays and $29 on weekends for 18 holes w/cart. Nine-hole rates and walking rates are available. Prices are discounted for juniors, seniors and military. In addition, juniors play free on Wednesdays and Sundays with a paying adult. Ladies also get a discount on Mondays. Alamo Golf ClubIn addition to hosting group golf outings and charity tournaments each year, Alamo Golf Club offers golfers two tournaments per week, an 18-hole Saturday shotgun and Tuesday evening tournament. The club also holds night golf tournaments throughout the year on its regular course.

For golfers looking to improve their game, Alamo Golf Club conducts weekly clinics for women, men and juniors and holds an additional seven junior camps during holidays and the summers. PGA golf professional, Randy Jones and assistant golf professional, Kris Garcia, offer private lessons seven-days-a-week that include everything from range balls to video analysis to custom club fittings. Alamo Golf Club is a certified Ping fitting facility.

Alamo Golf Club has a full-service golf shop with apparel, clubs and golf accessories. They offer competitive pricing and can order anything you want. In addition, David Rodriguez, golf smith, is on hand to do club repairs. If you haven’t visited Alamo Golf Club in a while, be sure to give it another look. In recent years, the golf course has been expanded with length added to both sides.
