About Lantana Golf Club

Lantana Golf Club ( was designed by Jay and Carter Morrish and dramatically uses bunkers, mounds and grass swales along with water and woods to provide a well-rounded test for all levels of player. The course is designed as a challenge to the expert player, though it's also playable for the average golfer. Its routing takes advantage of the spectacular terrain and heavily wooded areas of the encompassing 1,718-acre master-planned community.

Playing Lantana is actually like playing two different courses, as there are wide-open spaces – almost like meadows – as well as heavily wooded holes with changes in elevation. The course’s high-faced bunkers not only add to its beauty, they improve the playing experience.

Lantana has hosted the first local stage of the annual PGA Qualifying School Tournament since 2004. Located in southern Denton County in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Lantana is owned and operated by The Dominion Golf Group of Austin.
