Franklin TempletonIt’s a new year with a new tournament sponsor as Greg Norman teams with Franklin Templeton for the 23rd annual Franklin Templeton Shootout. The 2011 Shootout will be held December 7 – 11 at Tiburon Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. Entering its 11th year in Naples, tournament host Greg Norman will welcome 24 of the world’s top professionals, including PGA Champion Keegan Bradley, for an exciting two-man team competition.

Who is going to be playing in this year’s shootout?
The field for the 2011 Franklin Templeton Shootout has yet to be finalized but we can tell you that Greg Norman and 2011 PGA Champion Keegan Bradley will highlight a field of PGA TOUR winners, Major Champions and rising stars. This elite group of qualifiers from the PGA Tour current year and career money lists along with select invitees. The final field will be announced by Greg Norman on Saturday, October 15th at the Shootout’s Media Day.

How can I get tickets to this year's Shootout?

Tickets for the 2011 Franklin Templeton Shootout go on sale October 3rd and there are three easy ways to order --- Call 888 66 SHARK, visit or stop by PGA Tour Superstore Naples, Lumpy’s Golf Shop in Fort Myers or The Golf Shop at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort.  

The Shootout offers a variety of ticket options including pro-am daily grounds tickets ($20 - $25), professional competition grounds tickets ($25 - $30) and weekly passes (Wed – Sun) for $75.

Tournament Host Greg NormanIn addition to general admission tickets, all tournament guests have the opportunity to purchase an upgraded ticket to the Collier Club or 18th Green Reserved Skybox. The Collier Club offers an exclusive view from an elevated hospitality suite situated between the 8th and 17th greens. The 18th Green reserved ticket provides spectators with a reserved seat at the 18th green so they can have a premium view at the closing hole of the Franklin Templeton Shootout. What other events are happening during tournament week?
Franklin Templeton Shootout 5K - The 3rd annual 5K road race will take place Saturday, December 10th at 7:00am at the Tiburon Golf Club. Those interested can register online starting September 30th at The 5K is a great opportunity to not only stay in shape, but also a fun way to support CureSearch for Children’s Cancer!

Family Golf Clinic – Bring your kids to the Tiburon driving range on Friday, December 9th for the annual Family Golf Clinic. Greg Norman will host this educational event along with other players from the tournament field. Following Greg will be a trick shot artist that is sure to amaze! All youth in attendance will be able to get tips from local PGA Tour Professionals and tips to better their game. Festivities will begin following the days competitive round at approx: 4:00pm. All are welcome and the admission will be free to the public beginning at 2:00pm on Friday.

What’s different with this years Shootout?
New for 2011, mobile devices are now permitted at the Franklin Templeton Shootout. Patrons must keep their phones in SILENT mode, may NOT utilize the camera or video functions on their device and may only place/receive calls in designated “Approved Mobile Device Areas.”
