With tight greens, abundant bunkers and formidable length, the 3,240-yard Sydney R. Marovitz is among the most challenging of the six Chicago Parks District (CPD) courses managed by BCG.

In January 2009, BCG was selected by CPD, the City of Chicago's parks and recreation arm, to manage its golf facilities. In this turnkey role, BCG directs all aspects of golf course and property maintenance, staffing and training, clubhouse operations, golf instruction, marketing and public relations, special events and financial management for the CPD.

BCG has committed $5.5 million over 15 years to an aggressive property-enhancement program at the six courses, three driving ranges and learning centers, and two miniature golf courses. This includes work on course tees, fairways and greens; detailed attention to turf maintenance; and upgrades to buildings and facades.
