Midtown Athletic Club Golf Classic To Benefit Clearbrook

PALATINE, Ill. - Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine will host its 2nd annual charity golf outing on Monday, July 23, at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer, site of the 1989 PGA Championship. Proceeds from the Midtown Golf Classic will benefit Clearbrook, a leader in creating innovative opportunities and services for people with developmental disabilities throughout the Chicagoland area.

Chicago Bears punter Adam Podlesh will be on hand to challenge golfers to beat his drive on the par-3 third hole in return for cash and prizes.

Registration and practice range open at 10:30 a.m.; lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.; and a shotgun start kicks off at 12:30 p.m. Format will be played as a scramble in which players select the group's best drive, with each member then playing out their own ball from that spot to complete the hole.

Cost is $225 per player or $900 per foursome, which includes lunch, dinner, drink tickets, and plenty of on-course contests and prizes.
