–Sad to see you go– the closing of Philadelphia Golf Magazine. Fred Behringer and his staff put out a really quality publication, highlighting the region’s golf associations, tournaments and the interesting people who help make the game great.

–Kudos– to Jim Finegan Sr., noted golfer and author from Philadelphia Country Club, for his latest book, Where Golf is Great the finest courses of Scotland and Ireland. He was winner of the 2006 Herbert Warren Wind Book Award, given by the Golf Writers Association of America. He received his award at the GWAA Annual banquet at the Masters.

–Masters winner 2025– 5 year old Kyle

LoGrasso, is a champion already. At age 2, Kyle lost the sight in one eye, almost both eyes. While recuperating, Kyle started watching Tiger Woods on the Golf Channel and the rest is history, with much more to come in the future. This year, his Phil Mickelson-like left handed swing has scored a 41 for 9 holes, while averaging 170 yards off the tee. His story has been covered by Channel 10, Kyle’s been featured in an article by noted golf writer Dan Jenkins in Sports Illustrated and on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. Remember the name, Kyle LoGrasso.
