Harrington Wins Grand Slam of Golf

Padraig Harrington used three straight birdies to pull away from Webb Simpson on Wednesday then held on to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Southhampton, Bermuda. Harrington’s 4-under-par 67 put him at 9-under 133 for the 36-hole event.

Harrington was filling in for British Open champion Ernie Els in the event which pitts the four major winners against each other in an exhibition. Masters champion Bubba Watson and Keegan Bradley were also in the field. Bradley replaced PGA champion Rory McIlroy, who is playing in Shanghai.
