- Hall-of-Famers Headline Field – The field at the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS will include eight World Golf Hall-of-Fame members – Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, Sandy Lyle, Larry Nelson, Tom Watson (first Champions Tour start since April), Tony Jacklin (first Champions Tour start since the 2007 Senior British Open) and Greg Norman, making his first Champions Tour start since 2009. 2011 champion Fred Couples also will look to defend his title this week.

- Six players and caddies mic’d up live – Golf Channel will fit six Web.com Tour players and their caddies with microphones for the first two rounds (three on Thursday and three on Friday). Viewers will be able to eavesdrop on conversations between the players and their caddies throughout their rounds of play. The United Leasing Championship will be the first time on the Web.com Tour that Golf Channel will broadcast “live” audio from players and their caddies during their rounds.
- On Course with Kay: James Hahn – Golf Channel on-course reporter Kay Cockerill will conduct interviews “walk-and-talk” style with James Hahn and Rob Oppenheim that will air during tournament coverage.
- Instant Instruction with Mark Lye – Golf Channel analyst Mark Lye will give viewers instruction tips from the driving range immediately following key shots from players during tournament coverage.

- Big Break Ireland Champion Mark Murphy Competing this week – Waterville, Ireland, native and Big Break Ireland winner Mark Murphy will compete this week in the Irish Open, the second of two European Tour exemptions he received as a result of winning Golf Channel’s reality show competition in 2011. Murphy made the cut in his first exemption, finishing T52 at Trophee Hassan II in Morocco earlier this year.
