Bridgestone e7+ Golf BallBridgestone Golf, known for its industry-changing Bridgestone Challenge ball-fitting program, announced that it has rounded out its e+ series distance performance line of balls with the e7+, a ball designed for those with a high-to-medium ball flight that desire a more penetrating trajectory for increased distance.

"We have the most complete offering of any golf ball lineup in the industry because we believe one size doesn't fit all, when it comes to balls," said Dan Murphy, Senior Director of Marketing - Bridgestone Golf, Inc. "Our innovative solutions when combined with our ball-fitting diagnostic tool assure that we're putting a player into the best possible ball for their game. The e7+ is designed to allow players hitting it too high, or that already have optimal launch conditions, the ability to gain more distance off the tee."

With its new construction, the e7+ offers golfers high-speed distance, multi-layer performance and the accuracy and consistency of seamless cover technology.

The new e7+ is a three-piece surlyn construction ball featuring a larger High Speed Gradational Compression Energy Core that when combined with the thinner Initial Velocity Booster (IVB) Inner Cover provides increased ball speed resulting in unparalleled distance. The Surlyn 330 seamless dimple design cover provides optimal trajectory and consistent ball flight on all shots.

"The e6+ was designed to help players who want to reduce their sidespin to lessen hooks and slices; The e5+ was designed for players with a low ball flight who need increased backspin to produce a more optimum trajectory for increased distance; the next natural progression was to offer increased distance to those players who needed a more penetrating ball flight," said Brandon Sowell, Golf Ball Marketing Manager - Bridgestone Golf, Inc. "The e7+ is the perfect complement to our other distance-performance balls that all offer tremendous technology at a great price."

The e7+ will feature a street price of $26.99 per dozen (suggested retail price of $38 per dozen) and will be available at golf specialty stores and green grass retailers nationwide, beginning October 6th, 2008.
