Nike Golf is introducing a new collection to its extremely successful apparel category that has consistently positioned Nike Golf as the number one golf apparel company in the world.

The new Tiger Woods (TW) Platinum Collection, which is currently available in stores, is a premium offering of luxury performance apparel designed to reflect the unique personal insights of the No. 1 player in the world, Tiger Woods. The TW Platinum is technically advanced, with a distinctive style that reflects the man himself.

"Tiger came to us and said that he wanted something that represents a new level of sophistication - apparel that performs and looks good on and off the course," said Doug Reed, Nike Golf's Global Director for Apparel and Footwear. "So we worked closely with Tiger on creating an uncompromising, competitive and progressive line of clothing that represents where Tiger is today. We are evolving as Tiger evolves. It's really an amazing and inspiring process."

The TW Platinum Collection features ground-breaking "no sew" technology that reduces weight and bulk in places like plackets, sleeves and collars, and gives the simple knit shirt a sleek, modern look. The new premium line incorporates Nike's innovative NikeFIT technology without compromising the luxurious style it renders.

Keeping pace with the evolution of Woods who has been a member of Nike Golf's staff since 1996, the TW Platinum Collection sets the standard of excellence on and off the course.
