Foxwoods Resort Casino Partners with Hank Haney

Hank HaneyNORTH STONINGTON, Conn. - Foxwoods Resort Casino and Lake of Isles has announced a partnership with one of the world's top golf instructors, Hank Haney, who will Foxwoods Resort Casino and host golf schools for the resort's patrons throughout the year as part of the agreement.

In the fall, the award-winning golf academy will be named the Hank Haney Golf Academy at Lake of Isles.

"We are very pleased to have Hank Haney as part of the Foxwoods and Lake of Isles family," said Chairman Michael Thomas. "He is a true professional on and off the golf course. He has conducted several golf schools for our patrons in the past and the feedback has been outstanding. We look forward to having him as an integral part of our team."

Haney, ranked as one of the top three golf instructors in the world by Golf Digest, has taught many of the top PGA Tour players through the years and currently serves as the swing coach for Tiger Woods.

A native of Chicago, Ill., Haney also has his own television series on the Golf Channel called "The Haney Project," has released numerous books and DVD collections on golf instruction and has founded Hank Haney Golf Academy as one of the leading golf school's in the country.

"Foxwoods Resort Casino is a wonderful destination with world-class golf, gaming and entertainment," Haney said. "I am honored to establish a Hank Haney Golf Academy at this great facility and continue our mission to bring top notch golf instruction to as many people as possible."

The Golf Academy, which will be named this fall, Hank Haney Golf Academy at Lake of Isles, is a 60,000-square foot state-of-the-art year-round teaching and practice facility. It features a large grass tee area and separate chipping, putting, and bunker practice areas. The indoor practice facility includes four heated teaching bays, videotaped swing analysis and a classroom.
