The Legends at MassillonThe 2008 World Golf Championships - Bridgestone Invitational is coming to Akron's Firestone Country Club with tournament play beginning July 28. Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links (Akron)

Established in 1925, Turkeyfoot Lake is a 27-hole, public golf facility in the Portage Lakes area of Akron. Gorgeous tree-lined fairways and well-manicured greens make this the perfect venue for your next golf outing. Turkeyfoot has a longstanding reputation for great, public-access golf and was recently the proud recipient of a 4-star rating by Golf Digest.

The course's well-watered grounds are fresh and green throughout the season. And the dramatic views and elevation changes are certainly some of the highlights of Turkeyfoot Lake. Four sets of tees make the 27 holes of golf accessible and enjoyable for golfers of every age and skill.

Chenoweth Golf Course (Akron)

Located at beautiful Chenoweth Country Club and Banquet Hall, this 18-hole course is both relaxing and exhilarating. Only a short drive away in Akron, Chenoweth offers moderately priced rounds for walkers and riders. For more information or to book a tee time call 330-644-0058.

Gleneagles Golf ClubGleneagles Golf Club (Twinsburg)

Owned and operated by the city of Twinsburg, Gleneagles Golf Course continues to garner favorable reviews from golfers across Northeast Ohio. The layout consists of 18 holes and measures just over 6,500 yards from the blue tees.

The Course requires accurate shot-making, due to the water hazards on eleven of the holes. There are also over 20 bunkers on the golf course. A professional golf staff and fully stocked pro shop with clothing and equipment also compliment the facility well.

The Legends of Massillon (Massillon)

Play one of the premier public golf courses in Ohio. Owned and operated by the City of Massillon, The Legends opened for play in 1995 and was one of the first all bent grass public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally just 18 holes, nine new holes have been added since the course was originally built. Designed by Canadian architect John Robinson, the three nines - East, North and South - each feature six original holes and three "new" holes. Water comes into play in the form of ponds and streams on 22 of the 27 holes and there are over 80 sand bunkers. Large greens and four sets of tees make the course a memorable experience for all skill levels.

Tam O'ShanterTam O'Shanter (Canton)

With two expertly maintained 18-hole championship courses, a driving range, colonial style clubhouse and restaurant, Tam O'Shanter is one of Ohio's best golf clubs.

The Dales Course is a challenging layout with fairways naturally sculpted by glaciers. Here, you will discover beautiful rolling hills with many native trees as you stroll to your ball. The course is used for the final round of the Ohio Open Championship every year.

The Hills course at Tam O'Shanter opened in 1931. With small undulating greens you will need to bring your accuracy and a delicate touch on the greens to score well on this course.

Skyland Pines Golf Club (Canton)

Skyland Pines Golf Course is a mature, well-manicured, public golf course that is suitable for all levels for golfers.  The course boasts five sets of tees and challenging greens that are both true and fast. While its playable for everyone, Skyland Pines stretches to just under 6,600 yards from the tips and has the ability to test the most seasoned players.
