Argent Lakes Set To Open As 18-Hole Course

Argent Lakes Golf Course, the only premiere executive course in the Lowcountry, opens as a full 18-hole course for public play on Sunday, Aug. 5.

Argent Lakes Golf Course is located in Sun City Hilton Head, north of Highway 278.

All three of Sun City’s golf courses are open for public play.

Argent Lakes features the fun and length of an executive course with 12 par 3’s, five par 4’s and one par 5 (par 61 course), and is maintained in the style of a championship course.

Argent Lakes has been open for 9-hole play since June 2011.

To make a tee time and for rate information, call the Argent Lakes clubhouse at 645-0507. Argent Lakes is Sun City’s third golf course. Hidden Cypress, Sun City's crown jewel, features 6,946 yards of pure golf challenge.

This championship was designed by Mark McCumber and opened in 2000. At the Okatie Creek Golf Course, golfers of all ages and skill levels enjoy the course. Okatie Creek was also designed by Mark McCumber as a championship course and opened in 1996.

Both Hidden Cypress and Okatie Creek are certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, meaning they are recognized as preserving natural surroundings and the sport of golf.
