Students will also notice improvements in the practice facility, including a new 15,000 sq. ft. putting green, an improved short-game area and a larger practice range at the 7,143-yard course.

Academy students will enjoy student-member benefits of Pinecrest Golf Club, which will allow them weekend access not only to the practice facility but the course as well.  As Mr. Gonsalves explained, “we believe students having access to the practice facility and course on non-tournament weekends is a major improvement for our program.”

We are truly excited by this new addition to our housing,” Mr.Gonsalves said.

About Pinecrest

After 40 years of success in Atlanta, Canongate Golf Club opened a member-only facility in Hilton Head Island. Canongate-at-Pinecrest opened November 22, 2004, and is a fantastic addition to the Canongate family of clubs. The 18-hole facility was designed by Rocky Roquemore.

This 7,143-yard layout was designed to be enjoyable yet challenging for all levels, offering beautiful water features and creative bunkers.

This is the first Canongate club located outside of the metro-Atlanta area.
