Wexford Plantation to host Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Francis Marion University golf team will play host to the third annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Tournament, Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 25-26), on Hilton Head Island.

The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.

Host Francis Marion will be joined by Wofford, Northern Illinois, Davidson, Furman, USC Aiken, East Carolina, Marshall, Elon, George Washington, Winthrop, Kennesaw State, Presbyterian, Bowling Green and Oakland.

Last year the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga fired a 294 in the final round to claim the team title. UTC’s 897 team score was three strokes better than Marquette University (900) and 10 strokes better than defending tournament champion USC Aiken (907).
