Bayou Golf Course, Texas City

Bayou Golf CourseFor more than 35 years Texas City’s windswept Bayou Golf Course has been welcoming golfers of all shapes and sizes in search of a fast, friendly and affordable round to its battle-tested tees, fairways and greens. This 18-hole championship course designed by Houston-based architect Joe Finger is truly a blue collar, working man’s golf course.

Adjacent to Moses Lake, Bayou offers sweeping views of the surrounding waters, a links-style layout and unbeatable prices. The trees that were planted when the course originally opened in 1974 have matured and grown significantly, but the wide-open feel still remains.

Overall, this is a golf course for beginners, weekend warriors and those in search of a bargain.

“This is without a doubt the best bang for your buck you’ll find,” said General Manager Scott Roach.
