Brickyard Crossing opens for play

Tee times can be made by calling (317) 492-6572 or visiting www.brickyardcrossing.com. Tee times may be made 30 days in advance and must be secured with a major credit card.

Fees for the 2008 season:

• Daily play: $90 per player, including a cart equipped with a GPS system.

• Resort guests and member fees: $70 per player, including a GPS-equipped cart.

The Brickyard Crossing Men's and Ladies Club's are accepting new members. Call the golf shop at (317) 492-6572 for information. Drivers Club memberships, which include unlimited play with cart and range balls, are also available.

Brickyard Crossing is one of the unique golf experiences in the world. The 18-hole public course, designed by world-renowned golf course architect Pete Dye, is located on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway approximately 5 miles from downtown Indianapolis. Four holes are located inside the famous 2.5-mile IMS oval.

The course has made Golf Digest's "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses" list twice.

Indianapolis radio personality Eddie White was the first golfer off the No. 1 tee box when Brickyard Crossing Golf Course opened for play this season March 25. White is co-host, along with Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz, of the "Kravitz & Eddie Show" every weekday afternoon from 3-6 p.m. on 1070 The Fan in Indianapolis.
