Score Big at The First Tee Indy's Inaugural Ball Drop Halftime Event

The First Tee IndyThirty-six hours after a nearly 12,000 pound Waterford crystal ball drops in New York City’s Times Square to ring in the New Year, the Greater Indianapolis First Tee will hold a ball drop of its own.

A slew of great prizes, including tickets to the Super Bowl and The Masters, are up for grabs as the organization holds its first annual “Ball Drop” halftime event at Lucas Oil Field during the Colts regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans.

Individual tickets for the event are priced at $10. You can purchase three (3) tickets for $25, six (6) tickets for $50 and twelve (12) tickets for $100. This fundraiser will benefit the local chapter of The First Tee, with proceeds helping the organization expand programming in the local community.

First Tee CEO Joe Louis Barrow, Jr., will be attending the event as the Colts “12th Man” and he will serve as Grand Marshal for the ball drop. The ball that funnels into the hole first wins the 1st prize – two tickets to the 2011 Super Bowl. The second ball picked will be good for two tickets to The Masters in Augusta, Ga., plus airfare and 3-night accommodations. For a complete list of prizes, click here.
