ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, located within the lush 6,300-acre World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida, is offering a special "Stay & Play Package" in celebration of the near-completion of its extensive $10 million property-wide renovation.

Golfers will have a tough time deciding which of the two courses to choose. King & Bear is the only course in the world designed jointly by Arnold Palmer ("The King") and Jack "The Bear" Nicklaus. This picturesque 7,279-yard course features loblolly pines and open meadows on the front nine, impressive 200-year-old oak trees throughout the back nine, and lakes edged with large coquina rocks.

Slammer & Squire is named for legendary Hall of Famers "Slammin" Sam Snead and Gene "The Squire" Sarazen. They partnered with architect Bobby Weed to create this impressive par 72 tree-lined course which features gentle rolling fairways and challenging lakes. The 6,939-yard course is distinguished by memorable par-3s, and for its preservation of the woodlands, wetlands and natural beauty of St. Augustine.

Both courses feature such on-course amenities as chilled apples on the first and tenth holes, and Global Positioning System (GPS) in every cart.

The "Stay & Play Package" with golf on Slammer & Squire, is from $295 per room, per night, based on double occupancy. The "Stay & Play Package" with golf on King & Bear, is from $334 per room, per night, based on double occupancy. A limited number of rooms and rounds of golf are available for this package. Tax is additional, and the package is not available to groups of 10 or more rooms. The offer cannot be combined with any other offer, and blackout dates may apply.

"We're very excited about all of these changes, and know that golfers and vacationers will love our greatly enhanced resort," said Schwantner.
