World Golf Hall of Fame Features Paul Goydos' 59 Round

Paul GoydosST. AUGUSTINE –  Paul Goydos made history on July 8th when he carded a 59 in the first round of the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. The World Golf Hall of Fame now is featuring a display marking that special feat.

Goydos’ Titleist ball, with which he holed out for the 59, is on display, as are the hat, shirt and pants he wore that day.

“The Hall of Fame is a place where history is celebrated, and at times we see the making of history right before our eyes,” said Jack Peter, chief operating officer of the Hall of Fame. “Rounds of 59 are special achievements in golf, and we are pleased to share these items and background on the story with guests visiting the museum over the next month.”
