"It's great to see Stallion Mountain galloping again," stated Travelin' Joe Passov, Travel Editor for Golf Magazine during a recent Golf Magazine video shoot with Las Vegas golf updates. Las Vegas residents and visiting golfers would agree as Stallion Mountain Golf Club has re-emerged as a Las Vegas must play. The club had been closed for nearly three years, but this summer, a Colorado-based ownership group acquired the club and hired OB Sports Golf Management to reopen the facility. OB Sports has been operating courses in Las Vegas since 1990 and today also operates other popular Las Vegas-area courses, including The Legacy Golf Club, Angel Park Golf Club, Painted Desert Golf Club, Las Vegas Golf Club and Aliante Golf Club. OB Sports led an ambition effort to reopen, and re-launch Stallion Mountain Golf Club which celebrated a grand re-opening on October 1, 2011.

For those not familiar with Stallion Mountain Golf Club, the facility is just six miles from the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, and boasts a 7,351-yard layout that was designed former PGA Tour professional, Jim Colbert and golf course architect Jeff Brauer. Stallion Mountain Golf Club has a decorated history in the Las Vegas golf scape as a host venue for Golf Channel's Big Break II and also past of the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic and the PGA Tour's Las Vegas event (at the time known as the Las Vegas Invitational). Stallion Mountain's luxurious 38,000 square foot clubhouse promises to be Las Vegas' premier special event venue that offers numerous event venues and facilities for weddings, banquets, meetings and other special gatherings. The club's banquet facilities include a full service restaurant and grill as well as flexible banquet facilities that overlook the golf course and surrounding mountains.
