Play Golf America Day Comes to Fox Hills

Fox HillsPLYMOUTH - Play Golf America Day is coming to Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center on Thursday, June 3rd, 2010 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Play Golf America Day, hosted by the Michigan PGA and Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center, is a free day for all ages, skill levels and abilities.

Michigan PGA Professionals will be on hand to provide free 10-minute lessons for those who are working on their game or would like a few pointers. Top golf companies including Mizuno, PING, TaylorMade, Titleist/Cobra, Adams, Nike, Callaway and Cleveland will be on hand with all of the latest 2010 technology.

Junior Golfer's ages 8 to 18 are encouraged to participate in the Play Golf America Day Junior Skills Competition from 4 p.m. - 6 p m. Featured skills competition will include a wall shot, target skills, putting and chipping skills. Age groups include 8-10, 11-12, 13 - 15 and 16 -18. Well-known motivational speaker Dennis Walters will perform trick shots during his clinic at 6 p.m. from his specialized golf cart.
