Bilodeau Wins WFGT Event at Old Corkscrew

Kyle Bilodeau recorded three birdies and two eagles Thursday afternoon and in the process won his first event on the West Florida Golf Tour. His 2-under-par 70 around the difficult Old Corkscrew Golf Club won him the $1,000 first place winner's check and landed him in a tie for second on the "Race to the Ritz" standings.

He was an astounding five shots clear of second, which ties the largest margin of victory ever on the WFGT. Finishing in that tie for second at 3-over 75 were Tommy Rymer, Taylor Stewert and Cole Peevler.

Once again, the WFGT was delighted to offer its players a "Tour Standard Facility" for them to compete on. It's no wonder why Old Corkscrew has several PGA Tour players hone there skills in the winter time in preparation for the PGA Tour season.

Thanks again to Mike Holland and his staff for all their hard work in preparing the golf course, it truly was in magnificent shape. Next up, our last event of the 2010 season at the Ritz-Carlton this Monday. Register now and kick off your holidays on the right foot.
