Even Good Enough to Give Henry Bayou Classic Title

ST. PETERSBURG - Ryan Henry came home in 2-under-par 34 to finish with an even par round of 72 and in the process claimed his first victory on the West Florida Golf Tour. Henry was the only player in the field to shoot par around the Bayou Club Monday afternoon.

The players were treated with a real test of golf as the 7,100-yard layout showed why it is one of the premier layouts on the West Coast of Florida.  Once the wind came, the players really struggled to make birdies and mount any kind of charge. Finishing in a tie for second place were Ocala's Roger Rowland and Maine's Eric Higgins. Both players finished with 2-under 74s.

The WFGT was delighted to have the Bayou Club host one of its events and is excited for our future partnership. The Clubs staff did an amazing job in preparation as they made the players feel right at home. Next up, Lakewood Ranch Country Club and its Kings Dunes course on Friday Nov. 19th.
