Former Miss America and Mediterra Resident Kylene Barker McNeill Scores Two Hole-in-Ones

NAPLES, Fla. (May 7, 2012) – Kylene Barker McNeill, crowned Miss America in 1979 and a winter resident at Mediterra, capped off the season by scoring two holes-in-one while hitting the links on The Club at Mediterra’s two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses. McNeill, who is headed to her northern home for the summer, is an avid golfer and plans to play the famed Pinehurst No. 2 course on the way.

Mediterra is a 1,697-acre Mediterranean-style community with villas, single-family homes and coach homes. In addition to two championship golf courses, it has miles of bicycle paths and nature trails, a sports center that includes tennis and fitness, and a private beach club on the Gulf of Mexico.
