GreenLinks Rebrands to Focus on Golf Travelers

Naples, FL (Feb. 22) – GreenLinks Golf Villas at Lely Resort is the new name of the Naples, FL, property formerly known as GreenLinks Golf Resort and Conference Center. General Manager Randy Bayard says the name change more clearly defines its typical guest expectations and identifies the hotel as a great golfing destination. Adding Lely Resort as part of the rebranding illustrates the property’s idyllic location set among one of the premier communities in Southwest Florida.

GreenLinks Golf Villas features 200 fully furnished 2- and 3-bedroom villas available for daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rental. The villas include living and dining rooms, full-size kitchens, computer nooks, screened lanais, washer, dryer and DVD player. The property boasts a resort style pool with hot tub, tennis courts, barbeque grilles, fitness facilities and a business center with complimentary high-speed internet access. At the Flamingo Clubhouse, the Flamingo Island Grille offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with a spectacular golf course view to GreenLinks guests.

GreenLinks Golf Villas is the only hotel property in Naples set around two 18-hole championship courses. The Lely Flamingo Island Club is the county’s only Robert Trent Jones, Sr. signature course, and the Lely Mustang Golf Club is Lee Trevino’s extraordinary fair but challenging course. Golfweek has twice designated the Lely Flamingo course as one of “America’s Best,” while Golf Digest gives it four stars. With its hourglass fairways, fingered sand bunkers and large undulating greens, the Lely Flamingo course is destined to provide many exciting challenges. The picturesque par-3 fifth “Flamingo Island” hole is absolutely unforgettable. Mustang is punctuated by 12 sparkling lakes as it gently flows across undulating fairways and winds through stands of towering Florida pines.

Reflecting its location in the heart of Naples and at the gateway to the Everglades, GreenLinks offers a variety of Stay and Play packages that includes villa accommodations, discounted golf rates and preferred tee times; and free amenities including a pass to the Florida State Parks (three nearby), tennis, bike rentals, complimentary board games and DVD’s, a gift bag to the nearby Miromar Outlets; access to spa treatments at the private Player’s Club at Lely Resort; and discounts on guided kayak trips, deep sea fishing, horseback trail rides and a sunset cruise on the Naples Princess air conditioned yacht.

Located in the southwest corner of Florida, Naples boasts turquoise blue waters, an abundance of fine and casual dining, cultural attractions such as a botanical garden and zoo, and exciting Everglades excursions to enhance a stay. Air access is easy through major daily flights arriving at Southwest Florida International Airport in nearby Ft. Myers, just 20 minutes from Naples.
