Jay Severson named director of golf sales at Bonita Bay East

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Jay Severson has been named director of golf sales at Bonita Bay East, the 1,400-acre nonresidential golf facility located in North Naples.

In his new position Severson will be responsible for marketing the two courses and practice facilities to golf enthusiasts and hospitality and golf industry partners as well as increasing awareness of Bonita Bay East’s daily play status.

Severson joined Bonita Bay Group in 2001. He will continue to serve as director of membership sales at Verandah Club, a private membership club at Verandah, the 1,456-acre master-planned community located along a 1.75-mile stretch of the Orange River in Fort Myers.

“Jay’s knowledge of golf and his relationships with golf enthusiasts throughout Southwest Florida make him the perfect addition to the Bonita Bay East team,” said Gary Dumas, vice president of Bonita Bay Group.
