Pelican Preserve Golf Club hosts 34th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational

Pelican Preserve - Heron course, holes 5 & 6FORT MYERS, Fla. – Pelican Preserve, the 55 and better lifestyle community developed by WCI Communities, hosts the 34th Annual Florida International University Pat Bradley Invitational for the fourth consecutive year.

Fifteen college teams will participate in the 18-hole, three-day tournament, which begins with a practice round on Oct. 22. Pat Bradley, inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1991, is the only player to capture three of the four modern-day majors in a single season (1986).

Teams competing in the 2011 event include: Bethune-Cookman University, Boston College, Bradley University, University of Cincinnati, Daytona State College, Delaware, Drake University, Eastern Michigan University, Florida Atlantic University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida International University, University of North Texas, University of Southern Mississippi, Stetson University and Western Illinois University.
