Tree Links Golf Club

Putting in the Pines... you can smell the balsam scent. Tree Links is like golfing in the Carolinas, but you are actually at the highest point in Ohio - Bellefontaine.

This 18-hole championship public course offers a challenge to all levels of olfers and is a pleasure to play. Conveniently located at the intersection of St. Rt. 33 and Rd. 10 just one mile north of Mad River Mountain Ski Resort, Tree Links is only 35 minutes northwest of Columbus, 45 minutes north of Dayton and 40 minutes from Lima.

The lush, green Bentgrass fairways are lined with trees (thus the name, Tree Links.) Beautiful panoramic views are at every curve, with 40 acres of rolling pines to test your skills.

A driving range is provided to practice all your skills, along with two putting greens to sharpen your game. The most demanding hole is the eighth, which requires a 192-yard drive across "Art's Ulcer" ... any ball that falls short is sure to cause some pain. An island green on the 11th will entice you to get the ball up and on or surrender to the moat.

The pro shop offers many necessities for the well-stocked golfer, and the snack bar will satisfy your taste buds. You can watch your peers perform from the covered patio. We also have rental equipment.

Tree Links was built by owner Dr. Art Costin and designed by Chester Kurtz. Construction began in 1988, with the first nine holes opening in May of 1993 and the second nine in April of 1994. The course is operated by the Costin family and maintenance is kept at their high standards.

Outings at Tree Links are a festive affair. Top-of-the-line carts are provided, along with cookouts or catering under a pavilion. Call our pro shop with your special needs.
