Options Plentiful for Junior Golfers This Summer

Options Plentiful for Junior Golfers This SummerAfraid your son or daughter will waste his/her summer vacation on frivolous pursuits such as Facebook and Twitter? Does your kid love golf, but you’re tired of replacing household items that have been shattered by a indoor chip shot? Just looking for something that requires physical activity in an outdoor setting?

You don’t need a reason to choose golf this summer, but the aspiring PGA Tour star that sleeps down the hall might have already given you one. Most of the outstanding golf courses in Central Florida offer some type of summer golf camp, clinic or school.

Golf is a great choice. The sport teaches discipline, patience and encourages careful practice. Plus, it’s played outdoors.

Golfer’s Guide has compiled a list of local summer golf activities to help you conduct your search. We’ll be constantly updating the directory of camps, clinics and schools online at orlando.golfersguide.com. Just click on the ‘Junior Golf’ section to browse the directory.

If your golf course is offering one of these activities and you’d like to publicize it on our website, please contact Becky Williamson at bwilliamson@golfersguide.com.

Here are the camps, clinics and schools currently scheduled for Central Florida.
