UCF Golf Association. The original founders was a group of University of Central Florida employees who chartered a non-profit Association, May 29, 1976. The purpose of the Association was to promote camaraderie between the community and the University of Central Florida by providing outings in Central Florida. Every month of the year, these outings are on the best venues of Golf courses throughout Central Florida.

In the last 38 years, we have provided and will continue to provide an opportunity for all who love to play golf no matter of handicap. People of all ages and talent participate in our unique golf outings. UCFGA is a non-profit association. At our annual banquet, we present a contribution to the University of Central Florida Foundation. In our 38 year history we have contributed over $30,000 to the UCF Foundation.

UCF Monthly tournaments are played by handicap in A, B, C, D flite's. Play is conducted under current USGA Rules, except where course rules and format rules apply.

The tournaments include mixed formats from individual low net, low gross play to best ball, etc. Every person based on handicap on all flites has a chance to win. Additionally, we have prizes for the closest to the pin on all Par three's.

The entry fee for each outing averages $38.00 that includes; green fees, cart, prize money and donation to the UCF Foundation.

All participants who have won in any flight at one of the monthly tournaments qualify him or her to compete in our 'TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS" and dinner that is held in November.

In addition, those who did not qualify during the year join the Tournament of Champions and play on a special flite where they also will be eligible for a prize.

In 1978, we started our Mystery Outings, All participants meet at 10:00 am at the UCF campus, have coffee and donuts, and board a bus heading out to an unknown golf course. We play golf, enjoy a sit down dinner, and return to campus by 9:00 pm. This event is held every October and is very popular with our members.

Our goal is to continue the vision of Art and Carrie Lehmann, who both have contributed so much from the inception of the UCF GOLF ASSOCIATION, Along with all past and present members, to promote camaraderie between the community and the University of Central Florida.

In dedication to 38 years of service to the community and the University of Central Florida Golf Assoc. The “Tournament of Champions” will now be known as the
