Geminiani team wins junior invitational

Teenage pro Domenico Geminiani led his team to victory in the 10th Annual Junior Achievement Invitational on his home course, the Ritz-Carlton Members Club.

Pro golfers from the Tony Jacklin West Florida Golf Tour were paired with amateurs that included local businessmen and women.
The pro golfers, which included Andrew Giuliani, son of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, competed for an $8,000 purse. Amateurs played a "Beat the Pro" challenge while the overall winner received the Junior Achievement Invitational Cup.

Officials were happy with the financial success of the tournament.

Second Place Net:  Dave Carey, Brian Fischer, John Rider, John Trimer, Tom Reid (pro).
