Meltzer captures FJT event at Ironhorse

Jeffrey Meltzer of Bradenton prevailed in a playoff for his first career victory in a Florida Junior Tour event at Ironhorse in West Palm Beach. 

After an impressive first round of five-under-par 67, Meltzer took a three stroke lead heading into the final round but posted a 75. and ended in a tie with Logan Lanier of Saint Augustine.

Meltzer rolled in a birdie putt on the first playoff hole for the victory. Ramsey Touchberry of Bradenton finished alone in third place after rounds of 70-73.
