Paula Creamer to help Ritz celebrate 5-year anniversary

Paula Creamer will help the Ritz-Carlton Members Club celebrate its five-year anniversary by conducting a clinic for members and their guests on Jan. 22 at 11 a.m.

Creamer, who spent six years at IMG Academies in Bradenton, will give out instructional tips, provide insight to her winning shots, play around with some “trick” shots and answer questions about her game on the LPGA Tour.

Also, she will have the U.S. Women’s Open Trophy on display from her first major title win July 11, 2010.  She won the U.S. Women’s Open at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa.

This will all take place at The Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club, 15150 70th Terrace East Bradenton.

January marks the five-year anniversary of the Members Golf Club.

“We have enjoyed having Paula as a member of the club for the past five years and to those that have seen her work ethic and perseverance it’s no surprise she is a now a major champion,” said Glen Murray, Director of Golf Operations for The Members Golf Club.

She represents the First Tee Nationally for junior development, and is a continuous encourager of those she comes in contact with,” continued Murray.  “Her involvement in our celebration will surely continue to inspire our golfers to continue to enjoy this historic game.”
