"Senior Friendship Center has been a vital part of our community since 1977," said Robert Carter, President and Chief Executive Officer.  "Two decades ago the Venice campus was dedicated, bringing together health and medical care, senior center activities, caregiver support and adult day services, healthy meals, supportive aging and more. Located on the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway, the campus was among the first senior campuses in the country, where in a single location, older adults could access a full complement of services."

Last year alone, SFC Venice provided nearly 33,000 meals to the homebound and more than 17,000 meals at the center. More than 4,000 medical and dental clinic visits were provided through the Pat Buster Health Clinic to low income individuals age 50 and older. The Living Room Adult Day Services provided 31,000 hours of respite care. Hundreds of caregivers received support through the Caregiver Resource Center.  The Kathleen K. Caitlin Friendship Center reported more than 43,000 center visits. Senior Friendship Centers Venice campus is located at 2350 Scenic Drive, just off Shamrock Drive along the Intercoastal Waterway.
