2012 Transitions Championship Tickets Now on Sale; $10 Reduction for Weekly Pass

Tickets for the 2012 Transitions Championship are on sale now, with the price of the weekly pass reduced ten dollars to $79.  The price for a single day ticket (good for any one tournament day) remains $30 when purchased prior to tournament week. 

All tickets are available on the tournament website at www.TransitionsChampionship.com , and can be printed directly on your home computer through the ClicknPrint technology of Extremetix.  Beginning December 1, weekly and daily tickets also will be available for purchase at Tampa Bay area Publix Supermarkets.


Admission to the grounds on Monday (Celebrity Pro-Am) and Tuesday (Professional Practice Rounds) of tournament week will be complimentary, while Wednesday's Pro-Am will carry a $10 charge.

Tampa Bay's PGA TOUR event will be held March 12-18 on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf & Spa Resort.

In addition to the daily and weekly passes, this year the Transitions Championship will offer multiple packages which include hospitality and golfing opportunities on the famed Copperhead Course.  See the list below for a breakdown of packages and pricing.

The Red Hot Special at $59 features two daily tickets (Good-Any-One day) and a single day parking pass.

All kids 15 and under receive free tournament admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult.  The Family Plan at $89 includes two daily tickets (Good-Any-One day) and a single day parking pass along with four food vouchers (sandwich/chips/soda meal) good at any on-course concession stand.  

The popular Hooters Owl's Nest at the 17th hole returns with tickets starting at $74 (individual), $139 (two tickets and parking) and $239 (four tickets and two parking).  In addition to providing access to the tournament grounds, tickets include access to the Hooters Owl's Nest hospitality venue with preferred seating on the pivotal par-3 17th hole, complimentary beverages and a boat of world famous Hooters wings.  In addition to being available online, the Owl's Nest tickets will be on sale at area Hooters restaurants starting in January.

The Copperhead Pack, priced at $225, includes two rounds of golf on the tournament's Copperhead Course (restrictions apply) in addition to two daily tickets (Good-Any-One-day) and a single day parking pass.

There will be a $10 parking charge per vehicle each day of tournament week.

All active and retired military are admitted free each day with a valid Common Access Card or retired military ID.

Gary Woodland is the defending champion of the Transitions Championship which has also been won in recent years by noted PGA TOUR stars Jim Furyk, Retief Goosen and K.J. Choi.  The 2012 Transitions Championship will be nationally televised by NBC Sports and the Golf Channel.

About The Transitions Championship

The Transitions Championship is an official 72-hole PGA TOUR® event played on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in the Tampa Bay area.
