FSGA RULES OF GOLF SEMINARS NOW SCHEDULED

The Florida State Golf Association has released the 2012 Rules of Golf Seminar schedule. The Rules of Golf Seminar is for golfers of all levels and kicks off on January 13, at Quail Ridge, in Boynton Beach.

Throughout the year, the FSGA will conduct 16 Rules of Golf Seminars across the state. From 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, participants will partake in indoor classroom instruction with state of the art video presentation, as well as outdoor hands-on sessions covering the Rules of Golf. All workshops are instructed by FSGA staff members.

There are two seminars scheduled for the Tampa Bay area: 
Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Belleair Country Club (Belleair)
Friday, February 10, 2012 at Hunter's Green Country Club (New Tampa)

Florida State Golf Association Committee members are admitted for $10 while other interested individuals pay $30 to attend. Golf professionals are encouraged to attend and earn four continuing education points for attending. Admission also includes a luncheon buffet and 2012 Rule book.

Organized in 1913, the Florida State Golf Association is a not-for-profit organization that governs amateur golf in the state of Florida. In addition to conducting 37 Championships for amateur golfers in the state, the FSGA is responsible for more than 40 qualifying tournaments for USGA National Championships.  The FSGA also maintains the USGA Handicap System within the state and performs course ratings throughout Florida.
