Langer Wins Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am

Due to the weather, play was suspended shortly after the last group (Bernhard Langer, Mark O’Meara, Rolf Klam and Jon Miller) completed hole No. 1 at 9:30 a.m. Tournament officials issued an executive decision at 1:15 p.m. to not resume play due to the condition of the course.

Tournament regulations make an event official after completing 36 rounds. Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am then declared Bernhard Langer the 2010 Champion. His amateur partner Rolf Klam took home the Coca Cola cup.

This is Langer’s second Champions Tour win this year and his 3rd career win in Florida. World Golf Hall of Famer & two-time Masters Champion Bernhard Langer is leading the professional field at 9 under.

Langer dominated the Tour for most of the 1980's and 90's winning the Masters in 1985 and 1993, and playing on 10 Ryder Cup teams as well as being the non-playing captain of the victorious European team in 2004. Langer is originally from Anhausen, Germany but now resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife Vicki and four children.
